Troop 181 has been active on the Main Line since 1921.  In addition to teaching Scout skills, our monthly campout activities include backpacking, biking, canoeing, rock climbing or whitewater rafting, in addition to Council events. We also have a week-long summer camp at Resica Falls or another local Scout facility.


To join our troop, you must be:

 at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade, and register on or after March 1

or

at least 10 years old and have earned the Arrow of Light Award

or

at least 11 years old (but not yet 18)

New Cell Phone Policy for Troop Meetings

Effective Sunday November 2nd Scouts will not be permitted to use cell phones at Troop meetings. This decision was made by the Patrol Leadership Council (PLC), the Troop’s youth governing body. Parents who need to reach their Scout urgently during a meeting are welcome to call or text an Adult Leader directly. Please reach out with any questions.
