Posted on Apr 9 2021 - 9:19pm

Join us at nearby Evansburg State Park for our April camping trip which will include fishing.  We have reserved an organized group tenting site [Mill Race - B] with flush toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings.  We plan to fish the trout-stocked Skippack Creek; bass and catfish could be landed as well.  All anglers over 15 years of age are required to have a current PA fishing license and a trout permit.  We will follow our standard COVID protocols in addition to state and local guidelines.  Register today for this exciting trip and let's see who catches the biggest fish!

May 14-16 Backpacking at Resica Falls

Posted on Apr 9 2021 - 9:19pm

In May we are going to Resica Falls (East Stroudsburg PA) for another great backpacking trip.  This one will be authentic backpacking; no cars nearby because of weather.  We will gather Friday evening in Gladwyne to grab the gear we need and then meet at the white house just inside the Resica Falls entrance.  We will backpack to a site and set up camp.  On Saturday we will backpack to a site on the Bushkill Creek.  After breaking camp Sunday morning we will backpack to the white house and our vehicles, review the weekend, and start preparing for our rock climbing trip in June.  We hope to get a registration posted soon.

Summer Camp - August 8-13

We have registered for summer camp at Resica Falls Scout Reservation.  Scouts can complete lots of rank requirements and earn some merit badges while spending an exciting week outdoors learning and practicing Scout skills.  Click here to view the Program Guide.  As a reminder, in addition to the COVID screening sheet, the Annual Medical and Health Record (AHMR) Parts A, B1, B2, and C are required of all campers.  Note that this includes a copy of the front and back of your insurance card, and Part C is a physical examination including a physician's signature.

COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire

Posted on Apr 9 2021 - 9:19pm

Our local council requires a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire to be completed for each participant (Scout or Adult) to enter any Scouting activity.  It must be completed by an Adult participant or by parent/legal guardian of youth under age 18 and includes a temperature check upon arrival.  It is frequently updated, so please click here to access the current form, which was updated 03/01/21.
